IfG statement on departmental stability post 2013 reshuffle
Observations on departmental stability following the Coalition’s second reshuffle:
-
The Department for Transport and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs have experienced the greatest change since the 2010 election, with the all the ministers arriving since summer 2012.

All other departments have maintained a degree of continuity.
-
The only area of government without any change since before the summer 2012 reshuffle is at the very centre, in the offices of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
