A new study produced on our behalf investigates the significance and co-dependency of combined rural post offices and village shops in England and provides an overall perspective on their viability.
The report updates research first carried out in 1999 by the Countryside Agency and is set against the background of an impending programme of post office closures that will affect both rural and urban areas.
