NEW AIRBORNE LIDAR COURSE
A specialist course on 'Archaeological Survey Using Airborne Lidar' is being held on 23 February 2011 at the Oxford University Department of Contining Education (OUDCE) in Oxford.
It will be run by the Aerial Survey and Investigation Team of the Heritage Protection Department at English Heritage, and the Forest Research Department of the Forestry Commission.
The course is designed for a professional audience, particularly those who are currently involved in research, fieldwork and the planning process and who are already aware of lidar, but have little or no practical experience with its use. This course is back by popular demand after its successful launch in 2010.
