Deadline extension for new leadership initiative ...
Socitm are extending the application deadline of their new ‘Top Talent’ leadership initiative, which they launch in February and are running in association with IBM, until 25 April 2012.
Public service and third sector organisations need to adopt best practices of modern businesses, learning from private sector experts in the field of transformational change. And, Socitm and IBM's new training initiative aims to do just that - help equip future ICT transformation leaders, from both the public and third sectors, with the skills, knowledge and confidence to effect meaningful change in their own organisation...
IBM - Recognised as a global leader in business change, IBM has achieved much on this through having a constant focus on leadership development, through its internal programmes such as 'Top Talent'.
Socitm - Planting the Flag, the Local CIO Council initiative supported by Socitm, sets out an agenda for ICT-enabled local public services reform and specifically identifies leadership as a key capability for Socitm members to underpin their role in transformational change.
