Ofsted publishes English and modern foreign languages good practice report for college courses

The survey looks at the best English and modern foreign language provision in colleges, placing an emphasis on effective teaching and team-working, study visits and cultural activities, and overseas work placements through employer links.

A sample of colleges where provision in these areas was rated good or outstanding at their last Ofsted inspection were chosen for the survey, in order to identify those factors common to successful teaching and positive outcomes for learners.
