The Queen has decided that November 8 shall be observed as Remembrance Sunday, and the Secretary of State, on behalf of the Cabinet, is making the necessary arrangements for the ceremony at the Cenotaph.  The customary Two Minutes' Silence will be observed from 11.00 am.

From the Archbishop of Canterbury

The Queen has decided that November 8 is to be observed as Remembrance Sunday this year, with the customary Two Minutes’ Silence from 11:00am.  Clergy are asked to make appropriate arrangements, calling to mind our need to remember before God all those who gave their lives in war that we might know peace.
