Donate your coat to help keep London warm
If you have a coat that you don't need anymore, why not donate it to a good cause?
London Underground is once again teaming up with charity Hands On London to give passengers the opportunity to give away unwanted coats to help keep homeless people warm this winter.
From Wednesday to Friday next week, there will be collections stands at the following stations between 7am and 11am:
-
Canary Wharf
-
Charing Cross
-
King's Cross St. Pancras
-
London Bridge
-
Paddington
-
Victoria
-
Highbury & Islington
-
Baker Street
-
Euston
-
Waterloo
Last year more than 5,700 coats were donated by London commuters.
If you can't make it to one of the station collections, you can also donate at four Safestore warehouses from 11 November to 22:
-
Jamaica Road, Bermondsey
-
Pentonville Road, King's Cross
-
Camelford Walk, Notting Hill
-
Timber Mill Way, Clapham
The Broadgate Welcome Centre on Finsbury Avenue Square in the City will also be accepting donations from 11 November to 16.
