Following the Food Standards Agency’s move to regular publication of audit reports for approved meat plants in England, Scotland and Wales in January, the Agency has now published the latest batch of audits.

These bring the total number of audits on the FSA website to 559, with audits now available for 44% of the plants in Great Britain.

In January, the Agency also started routinely publishing the full list of meat plants which, on the basis of their audit reports, are considered 'cause for concern'. This list is updated on a weekly basis and there are currently 10 premises on the list.
