Government responds to Rural Advocate's report on releasing the economic potential of rural areas
Hilary Benn, the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has delivered the Government's response to the report by Stuart Burgess, our chair and the Government's Rural Advocate on 'England’s rural areas: steps to releasing their economic potential'.
The Secretary of State spoke at our summit on how innovation in rural areas can be encouraged to help drive stronger rural economies. Our summit was jointly hosted with The Northern Way and the northern RDAs.
