New Specialist Networks launched
As of 1 April, our two new specialist networks are now live, and are already working in their communities to help get people online. These networks will provide specialist help and support to two groups; people who are unemployed and those who have a disability, learning difficulties or health problems.
These two groups are among the most likely to be offline, and are also often the hardest to reach. Because of this, we have established these two networks who can provide the support these two groups need to get online.
You can download a list of Into work specialist centres: Into_Work_Specialist_Centres.xls.
You can download a list of Disability specialist centres here: Disability_Specialist_Centres.xls
Our two specialist networks have the experience, expertise and ability to support these groups of learners. And to help them in their delivery, UK online centres will provide specialist support and training to these centres, ensuring they have all of the resources they need to get people in their target group online.
If you help either the unemployed or people with a disability learning difficulties or health problems to get online, then you can join one of these Specialist Networks to take advantage of the resources provided. If you're not yet a UK online centre, you can join up by filling in application form here, and if you are a UK online centre you can join one of our specialist networks by emailing your network co-ordinator, or help@ukonlinecentres.com.
