Consumer Redress for Misleading and Aggressive Practices
In a report published this week, the Law Commission are recommending that consumers should have a new legal right of redress against traders that carry out misleading or aggressive practices.
The Commission recommends limited reform, targeting the most serious causes of consumer detriment. The LC follow the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 in most, but not all, respects.
