Internet Access Quarterly Update, Q3 2013

At Q3 2013, 43.8 million adults (86%) in the UK had used the Internet, an increase of 1.0 million since Q3 2012.

7.0 million adults (14%) had never used the Internet, falling by 616,000 adults since Q3 2012.

Almost all (99%) 16 to 24 year olds had used the Internet, compared with a third (33%) of adults aged over 75.

Men (88%) were more likely to be Internet users than women (84%).

By region, London had the highest proportion of Internet users (90%); Northern Ireland the lowest (80%).
