Lifelong Learning UK is proud to support The Benefits of Youth Work, a report that sets out why youth work is so important.

The report was published by Unite, the Community and Youth Workers Union.

Researched by the National Youth Agency, the report provides essential information for councillors, policy makers and their colleagues, showing how youth work makes a real and cost effective impact on young peoples' lives: supporting their learning and helping them to be more healthy, keep safe, and make a positive contribution to society.

Never before have young people been so high on the public agenda - both positively and negatively - making it a critical time to reassert the value of what youth workers do.
