Further updates on My Local Health Service website

A new website containing easily accessible information on NHS performance has been updated giving patients even more information on their local hospitals, GP practices and health boards.

The mylocalhealthservice.wales.gov.uk  website provides performance data on a range of health services and now includes information on:

• Immunisation rates
• Adult and childhood immunisation
• Referral to treatment time
• A&E waiting times
• Ambulance response times
• Cancer referral waits  (31 days and 62 days wait)
• Delayed transfer of care in mental health and non-mental health and sickness absence
• Five National Clinical Audits (dementia, hip fracture, hear failure, stroke and bowel cancer)

Speaking of the website, the Chief Medical Officer for Wales Dr Ruth Hussey said:

“My Local Health Service website contains further information that helps people to know what the NHS is achieving.

“Through publishing more information we aim to improve the  quality of care which is one of our key aims for the NHS.”
