InBev has recalled a batch of Budweiser beer (300ml bottles) because it might contain small pieces of glass. The Agency has issued a Product Recall Information Notice.

The product being recalled is:

InBev has recalled the affected batch from consumers and notices are being displayed in stores and on the Internet explaining the reason for recall. The company has also issued a press release. If you have bought the affected beer you can return it to the store you bought it from for a replacement or a refund. No other Budweiser products are known to be affected.

About product withdrawals and recalls

If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product).
