Cases where local Planning Authorities were minded to grant planning permission against HSE’s advice

Three documents are now available relating to recent cases where HSE has requested, or considered, that a planning application be called-in:

  • Maldon District Council: planning application FUL/MAL/10/00261 – four detached houses at land adjacent to Langford Water Treatment Works, Hatfield Road, Langford, Essex
  • Renfrewshire Council: planning application 08/0077/PP – siting of junior football pitch, associated stand, part conversion of existing building into changing facilities and formation of parking at Blythswood Retail park, Inchinnan Road, Renfrew
  • Birmingham City Council: planning application 2009/05082/PA – installation of first floor mezzanine at Unit 13, The Fort Shopping Park, Fort Parkway, Erdington, Birmingham B24 9PF
