Change4Life launches Really Big Summer Adventure

Change4Life’s latest campaign is The Really Big Summer Adventure – a six-week-long summer holiday initiative designed to help families get active whilst school’s out. The campaign provides parents and carers with loads of ideas, offers and competitions to get the family up and about – without breaking the bank.

Interactive Fun Generator

And when families are at home they can still keep busy with the online ‘Fun Generator’ – an interactive tool available on the Change4Life website. The generator will provide over 100 free, entertaining indoor and outdoor activity ideas for groups of all sizes. Inspiration for some of the games has come from real life parents and kids via the ‘activity collector’ application on the Change4Life Facebook page.

For parents, there’s a £50 voucher book available, with money off offers on families’ favourite food and drinks, as well as activities and events for the kids. The offers are redeemable via retail partner, Asda, and 5 million will be distributed through a range of channels across the country – and additional great deals and freebies are available on the Change4Life website for those that sign up.

Help burn off calories

Kids’ daily quota of activity doesn’t need to be done all at once, and can be things like jumping, skipping and dancing. Doing this will help them to burn off calories and prevent fat being stored in the body, which can lead, to cancer, Type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. It also keeps their bones healthy and encourages muscle strength and flexibility.

You can find out more and sign up on the Change4Life website.
