Join the campaign to Keep Britain Working

We are pleased to announce our support for the Keep Britain Working campaign, which promotes innovative ways to preserve and create jobs.

Recent research undertaken by the campaign found that 50 per cent of UK bosses have become worse at motivating their staff since the recession began. The Keep Britain Working campaign focuses on how individuals can play their part in keeping colleagues motivated and organisations working.

Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, commented on the campaign saying:

"There is a great deal employers can do to play their part in preventing people becoming unemployed. The Keep Britain Working campaign makes an important contribution to ensuring employers share the sorts of innovative approaches that will help people avoid unemployment and help businesses prepare for recovery. There is already some excellent work taking place on avoiding redundancies and I welcome this project as a chance to share this innovation."

Alongside Lifelong Learning UK, other supporters include AstraZeneca, Prudential and WH Smiths.
