Digital evolution, local action conference
In November, UK Online Centres will be holding our the Digital evolution, local action conference in London and you’re invited!
Digital evolution, local action is the UK’s only conference that supports and inspires community organisations to do more using technology and it is taking place on Tuesday 27 November at the BT Centre in London.
UK Online Centres know technology has the power to change lives and bring communities together, but often local and community organisations struggle to harness its power. Digital evolution, local action aims to inspire social change in local communities by providing delegates with a view of the high level policy areas that affect them, as well as providing practical hints on how to implement it in their own situations. The conference also aims to uncover the barriers organisations face when engaging with new online tools.
Inspiring speakers will include Marcelle Speller from Localgiving.com, Dan Thompson, the creator of #riotcleanup and #WeWillGather, and Nick Hurd MP (invited).
