Appointment of a Senior Immigration Judge - Lane

News Release issued by the COI News Distribution Service on 11 December 2009

The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP, has appointed Immigration Judge Clive Nicholas Lane to be a Senior Immigration Judge of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal, based in Bradford, with effect from 14 December 2009.

Notes for the Editor

Clive Nicholas Lane (52) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1985. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Immigration Adjudicator in February 2001, as a Deputy District Judge in June 2001, and became an Immigration Judge with the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal in 2007. He also served as a Legally Qualified Panel Member of the Appeal Tribunals from 1999 to 2007.
