INFOGRAPHIC: Silent Night Cyber Security Checklist

Cyber security specialist Digital Craftsmen has put together a Christmas security checklist to help public sector organisations enjoy Silent Nights over the festive period.

Cyber-attacks on public sector organisations of all sizes increase around public holidays, when they are less well resourced or not as focused on security as usual, and offer the perfect chance for cyber criminals to attack.Ransomware attacks can increase by 30% over the festive period.

What’s certain is that during the Christmas holiday season, employees tend to let their guard down;therefore,we urge public sector bosses to remind their employees to be vigilant.

This 5-point checklistcovers what employees and IT directors should do to protect their IT systems at Christmas before switching off the lights and hitting the mulled wine and mince pies.
