Spotlight on digital learning at project event
Association for Project Management (APM) will be among the experts presenting at the upcoming Project Challenge Spring Show on Tuesday, March 24. The annual event, held at Olympia London, is an opportunity for delegates to learn, network and discover the latest tools, solutions and services available to project professionals.
Carol Rayner, APM’s e-learning business manager, will be among the presenters. Carol will discuss the topic of digital learning for project professionals, drawing on examples from APM Learning, APM’s digital platform, to provide insights into how ongoing professional development can be supported.
Explaining what inspired her to address the topic of digital learning, Carol yesterday said:
“With increasing competition in the academic and corporate world, effective learning and development has become a key concern for all those who want to exceed and not be left behind.
“But the way people find and engage with learning continues to change. A new generation of learners is emerging with different expectations from their predecessors. These people expect to be able to access learning whenever and wherever they need it, on the device of their choice, and they have a more motivated and self-directed approach to workplace learning.
“Organisations, employers and managers need to change the way they support their people to learn. Speaking at the Project Challenge Spring Show is a great opportunity for APM to engage directly with project professionals on this topic and bring the importance of learning and development to life in a way that provides real, practical value.”
The Project Challenge Spring Show is free to attend and you can book your place online. Visitors will be able to choose from 24 presentations on a range of subjects, and have full access to the event’s exhibition. APM will have a manned exhibition stand throughout the day, where attendees can meet members of our team to discuss services, membership and more.
