Mr Philip Sinkinson OBE has been appointed British High Commissioner
to The Republic of The Gambia in succession to Mr Eric Jenkinson OBE
who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
Mr Sinkinson will take up his appointment in April 2006.
